SO summer is going super fast and I wish it was a lot longer. I realized today that I'd be perfectly happy if it could just always be summer. People complain bout the heat and stuff, but there are lots of ways to deal with that, and just the feeling of summer itself is so good. Especially cuz my car totally helps that. And I love the beach. And no school. ANd *insert any summer activity here*. U get the point.

Sometimes having too much time to think isn't the best thing. I had 2 days off in a row. I got to relax and do absolutely nothing which is awesome, but it also leaves a lot of room to think about things. Some things you wish were different. How to change them though is the problem.

mi telefono se caye en la agua de papas. (my fone fell in the potato water). As much as that sounds like im inept at spanish... im not. lol thats what i meant to say. 1. im a total perfectionist, but i get bored with stuff about halfway through, so ill finish something til i think its exactly right, but ill HATE doing it and most likely complain the whole time. (haha im like a lil paradox in myself no?)
2. when i do any kind of exercise with reps, i count in japanese. its lik embedded in my head to do that from all the years of karate and i completely do it without thinking.

1.Francisco!- ...thats fun to say! lol one of my favorite lines from Elf, which consequently got me the name of my car. (sometimes I like to call him Frankie for short lol)
2. Finding Nemo- such a fun movie~ gotta love the disney magic lmao. especially how they always manage to jus sneak in those lil impt morals and life lessons like real love, and simplicity (Dory hehe), and happiness and stuff. all of which leads me to the next 1...
3.Funny- ppl dont appreciate laughter enough. u gotta be able to find humor in almost anything or life can really look sucky. trust me- when ur really low, sometimes u need to step back and find something really funny that can help you get outta a crappy mood. no matter how bad things may seem- its always a little less dismal when u can still laugh
4.Fred- of Fred and George of course. lol gotta love them bc a)theyre twins like me and chris, b) theyre like the cool older bros every1 would love to have, and c) their tricks and jokes are awesome and everything they say is classic lol
5.Fast- one of the best feelings ever is the wind flyin by ur face as ur running fast as u can. u ppl kno wut i mean. nuff said.
6.Friend- I have no idea wut i would do without my friends. ive said it lots of times, but u guys have helped me thru dome of the worst things, and stood by me when i prob didnt even deserve it. my best friend knows more about me than i think i even do lol bc i trust her enough for that. Im fortunate enough to have ppl in my life who are true friends not jus aquaintances and i love you guys
7.Family- so so so so important too. i think ur family makes u grow a lot bc ur stuck with em lol. not like friends u can choose... u get who u get as family. everytime im with all my fam i look around and jus laugh bc there are quite a few interesting characters in my family, but i wouldnt trade them for anything.
8.Flip Flops- sure sign of my absolute favorite time of the year... SUMMER. flip flops jus make you think of the beach, and hangin out with no worries, and having fun with you favorite ppl, and jus the freedom that summer always means when ur a kid. (and/or a teacher lol). and theyre jus always fun to wear. hehe
9.Full Chorus Practice- (ok i kno this 1s retarded but i had to throw it in) Full Chorus practices were always the most fun ever. it meant the concert was almost coming, and even tho BJ was all sorts of stressed out and mad, we got to dance and sing our fav songs, and see all our friends from the other sections! and laugh at the boys... cuz that was a favorite pasttime of mine and marys lol. what can i say i was a dork i loved chorus it was my fave class ever lol
10.Forever- its one of those words that every1 throws around and doesnt think about what it really means. Like u cant just say ill love you forever in some passing way. Unless u really mean u will never stop. Its FOREVER. Only a few things last forever. SO therefore they gotta really mean somethin. |

last night an old friend tried to talk to me again. Albeit (yeah i know big word) unsuccessfully, jus knowing that he tried menat a lot. It hurts thinking some1 very impt to you doesnt want u in their life anymore- which was def how it felt the past few months. I wonder how much has changed. I know things never stay the same, or just as you want them, but I wonder to what extent everything will be different.
Guess we'll see.
I know I've changed sinced I last saw him. Made some mistakes, learned from them, made a few more... but overall I think I'm movin toward better things.
Besides the whole... inevitably moving straight towards getting my heart broken. yeah thas probably not good. But I can't see how to stop it from happening. Its IMPOSSIBLE. I guess its just one of those things that you hafta let happen even though u know its bad, but maybe it'll make u stronger later. And maybe you'll have some memories of the good parts to look back on too.
I know Saturday was one of those good memories I'm gonna remember. |

o ok so let me try this AGAIN after my comp shut off twice. cuz its fun like that.
i havent written in a bit, mayb jus bc ive been tryin to straighten out stuff about myself, every1 around me, and life in general. i was thinkin b4, about how ppl have this fear of bein alone. like they always have to be around some1 else, or at least talking to others. maybe its bc our society made us that way, like we hafta be in contact at every single moment, jus bc we have the opportunity now, with all the technology that wasnt available b4 and stuff.
Idk maybe im marginalizing myself here, but i dont go along with that whole idea. like im not afraid of bein by myself. i actually like it every once in a while. gives me a chance to jus relax, or think bout things uninterrupted. (bc we all know how easily i can get distracted with anything). sometimes ppl think its weird i guess- like theyre all like "y are u never online?" i guess its jus how i am- im really a quiet person at heart, and i dont need to be talkin all the time. i kinda think when u do talk to some1 then, its a lil more meaningful. idk its hard to explain but yeah.
plus mayb thas the reason i dont like to talk so much when i have a problem. either i like figuring things out myself, i dont wanna wrry ppl about things, or thas jus my personality. when im upset im kinda reclusive and quiet. but i think its ok to be like that. every1s different. and i know (now) when its important to be open with ppl. so dont wrry, its all good.

So I realized if someone didnt know me and they just read my lj they would def think i have major mood swings. like i only update when im feeling particularly content or thoughtful or need to let off some steam. haha o well. w/e idc- u ppl know me well enough to kno im not crazy (sometimes)
anyway- things are good. fun night out with some very nice guys who have quite a talent for making me smile lol.
so i was thinkin yesterday after i talked to ally, bout how some ppl are assholes and yet i dont see that in them. its been made painfully obvious that i give ppl too many chances to prove that they are good even when every1 else says def not. i think it just comes down to the fact that i really think that everybody is inherantly good somewhere within them.i guess i jus try to find that in ppl- doesnt always work but thas how i am.
so yeah- spring break soon- yay! and visiting chris! yay! and no ally and 2 research papers- boooooooooooooooo :-(
well ill get thru haha... ill miss u mami hehe
